From a sock-knitting mill to a leading shoe retailer.

 

 

 

 

In 1944, following WW2, socks were in short supply. Earl Lyons saw an opportunity, and stepped in to meet it. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What began with socks quickly grew, first into slippers, then into shoes, sandals, and boots.

 

What started with a team of 30 making colourful argyle socks has grown into the company we are today － shaped by the same focus on fit, comfort, and thoughtful design.
